Trims
Three trims are available for this lineup, with an entry-level MSRP of $54,990. Check the trims below.

Performance
The entry-level trim, eDrive35, comes with an upgraded engine, delivering 66 kWh of net capacity; total gross capacity goes up to 70.2 kWh. It has a synchronous motor with 295 lb-ft of torque capacity and 281 horsepower. The acceleration capacity is impressive for an EV, going from 0 to 100 km in up to 6 seconds. It has a top speed of 190 km/h and up to 435 km range.
The eDrive40 and M50 xDrive have a torque capacity of 317 lb-ft - 536 lb-ft, respectively. As for horsepower, the eDrive40 has 335 horsepower, and the flagship model comes with 586 horsepower. All models come with a single-speed automatic transmission. Also, both models have an 81.5 kWh battery pack.
Interior Design
All trims come with leatherette upholstery and a few options of colours. You can also pay more for original leather upholstery. You can also buy the Premium Essential Package, regardless of the trim you choose. Benefits include heated front seats and steering wheel, a tire pressure monitoring system, a HiFi sound system, and an alarm system.
Exterior Design
All models come in a standard Alpine White colour. Still, ten other options are available for an extra cost. The 18-inch gunmetal grey wheels are standard for the whole lineup. There are also two options of 19-inch wheels available. Standard features available for this lineup include exterior accents in blue, black mirror caps and laser light headlights.
Technology
The Premium Enhanced Package, available for all trims, includes galvanic controls, a head-up display, a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, and BMW Drive Recorder. All models have a WiFi hotspot, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, Bluetooth, and mobile compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The standard sound system counts on ten speakers; the Harman Kardon system has 16 speakers. Additionally, there’s satellite radio and a wireless charging device.
Safety
The new i4 has plenty of driving assists as standard, but buying a package with more features is also possible. This lineup has automated warnings for forward collision, lane departure, lane keeping, and front cross-traffic alert. The BMW i4 is ready for highways and city streets, with its traffic jam assist and adaptive cruise control. The Advanced Driver Assistant package includes the traffic jam assistant and the Driving Assistant Professional suite.
